The Munch is a wedding and event catering company based on the Isle of Wight, creating relaxed, generous food for celebrations of all kinds.
Our style is centred around sharing. Long tables, food down the middle, guests helping themselves and settling into the day at their own pace. We believe some of the best moments at weddings and gatherings happen around the table, when people are relaxed, well fed and enjoying each other’s company.
We cook with flavour, seasonality and flow in mind, focusing just as much on how the food feels as how it tastes.
How we work
We are not a one size fits all caterer.
Every event starts with a conversation. We listen to what you are planning, how you want the day to feel and the kind of experience you want your guests to have. From there, we build a menu that suits the season, the setting and the people around the table.
Our approach is informal but considered. We plan carefully behind the scenes so that on the day everything feels easy, calm and well paced.
No rigid service. No unnecessary fuss. Just thoughtful food served with care.

We take on a limited number of weddings and events each season so we can give every celebration the attention it deserves.
More than just food
Alongside our catering, we can also provide full bar service, including Florence, our vintage VW cocktail van. Having food and drink handled by one team helps the day flow naturally and keeps things simple for you.
We regularly work with venues, planners and private clients across the Isle of Wight and the South, and are experienced in everything from outdoor and marquee weddings to private homes and unique spaces.
